Project BeYOU assist metro Atlanta students who are financially disadvantaged and are unable to attend their prom by hosting dress give away events during the early spring. Girls leave Project BeYOU with a dress and confidence.  

We are currently accepting donations for the following items or services:  

• Clean new and gently used prom dresses, formal gowns, cocktail dresses, and bridesmaids dresses 
• New and used shoes, 
• Accessories such as hand bags, clutches, jewelry, etc. 
• Gift cards to local restaurants, hair salons, nail salons, makeup artists, florist (corsages), Limousine service
• Dry cleaning services
• Alteration services 

Registration

We believe that no girl should miss out on attending prom. This is the dream night, the night that culminates your high school  experience—the night that will forever be a hazy, beautiful dream you’ll  carry in your memory.

Registration is required.  

Girls in 12th grade are eligible to shop for prom dresses at a location to be announced. Each eligible girl will receive a dress, shoes, and jewelry,  while supplies last. One lucky young lady will be selected to receive the prom of her dreams, which includes a new prom dress, shoes, makeover, accessories, and a photoshoot.  

• Students must be in grades 12 and attend schools in the 14 surrounding metropolitan Atlanta counties.
• Each student must present a valid school ID card or other proof of enrollment at the time of the appointment.
• Each student will be allowed to bring one adult (i.e. a parent, aunt, teacher, etc.) with her.
• Students will be allowed to select one dress, but can try on multiple dresses on the journey to finding that perfect dress. Once a dress has been selected, each girl will proceed to the accessory table, and can not go back to try on more dresses.
• Students should remove heavy makeup and deodorant prior to trying on dresses. We will have wipes  available for girls to use.
• Only the personal shoppers and other volunteers should handle dresses until a girl has checked out.
• Adults will not be allowed to shop for students without them being physically present.
• Entrance fee $5
